I am a 62 year old male.  For the last six or seven years I had developed a fear of stairs and heights.  I could on for too many days not get up or down the staircases in my home.  On those days I would crawl up the stairs and come down on my rear-end like a 15 month old toddler.  This fear was interfering with my life.

With the agreement of my physician I decided to try hypnosis.  I contacted Stephanie Dalfonzo at Danbury Hypnosis.  I had three sessions over a period of two weeks.  Stephanie was encouraging, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and patient.  I can now navigate the stairs in my home without the gripping fear I lived with so long.  I should have done this years ago.  I am also proud that I conquered this fear.

I was going to Stephanie for a couple of sessions and I have to say that
my life has improved. I recall having a test anxiety with my Praxis 1
testing. When I first went to Stephanie, I felt like I was losing control
of my life with my test taking including my future as a teacher. I was out
of focus, unconfident, and depressed. Through her hypnotic sessions
involving relaxation, positive words, and test taking strategies, I do
feel much better about myself and in my abilities in test taking. Weeks
later I finally passed my test to get into the Education program at my
college and was able to get into Grad School. My depression was subsiding,
and I did start to feel more relaxed and focused. I've been more motivated
at school and feeling hopeful about my abilities. I commend her on her
